    I had an email from the bailiff co confirming that my vehicle was exempt as a tool of my trade. The bailiff co now says its not. can they change their decision.

    What is the primary use of the vehicle, what vehicle is it and is it sign written etc

      its not signed. I use it daily at work to transport vulnerable children

        I would advise you get a letter from your employer to that effect to show/send to the bailiffs.

            I have and sent it to the bailiff. thats when they said exempt. Now changed their minds

              Sorry but I'm not a mind reader. Need to know more about how this came about, Council Tax, PCN, HCEO? Could be the levy is invalid, did you receive a Form 7 - Notice of Seizure? Bailiffs base vehicle exemptions on Toseland Building Supplies v Bishop.

                What was the debt that the bailiff was trying to take the motor for civil PCN or a magistrates fine?
