    Re: Another Marston's problem

Okay. As Hereford is the "younger" of the two fines, you could approach them as regards a Means Hearing and Consolidation Order. Speak to the court staff in the first instance. Hopefully, you can get this sorted out and Marstons taken out of it altogether.

      Re: Another Marston's problem

Well here is the response from HMCTS (Runcorn),

      26 November 2013

      Dear Mr X

      REF: ACCOUNT NO XXXXXXXXXXX

I acknowledge receipt of your e-mail dated 25 November 2013, and its contents are noted.

As a previous communication from this court has stated, you were aware of this fine in June 2004, when you contacted this office and time to pay was set for you.

Unfortunately this account is no longer with the court, therefore, we are unable to provide a means enquiry, and you are advised to contact Marston Bailiffs, Telephone Number: 0845 0743749.

      Yours Sincerely,

      SQUIGGLE

      Merseyside Collections.

What should I do now? Email the area supervisor people as suggested above? I seem to be getting absolutely nowhere fast with this. I have tried to explain to the court that I moved around at the time they have stated above, but they seem to ignore those facts and the fact that I have been trying to contact them since September this year when they sent the reminder letter to my current address (where I have lived for 7 years now)!

Another frustrating day nearly over, on another note I have had read receipts from Marston's today so I know they have read the email as outlined above. I await a response from them also.

      Thanks,

Correct. The HMCTS Area Enforcement Team is the next step.
