Just to be on the safe side, check with the court as to whether you still have to pay the bailiff's fees. If not, all well and good. But check with the court in any case. Collectica are well known for being non-compliant with what they courts tell them to do and not do and to do and for telling porkies.

Do what bluebottle says, but I would not be surprised if Collectica will give up on their fees, or if the Court tells them to back off, after all the warrant was issued correctly, and the (too hard) pressure from the bailiff obtained a full payment of the fine....that's me being scheptical.

Absolutely, Sir Vere. R -v- Hereford Magistrates Court ex parte Macrae (The Macrae Case) ruled that a DW cannot be withdrawn by a court where it has been issued correctly. However, there is nothing to prevent a court recalling a DW in cases of vulnerability or where there is doubt as to the legality of a conviction.
