When you say 'to find out if I'm the defendant', do really mean they could be chasing me thinking I'm someone else? The thing that's really bugging me is this "third party" payment. The further steps notice went to my mother's address (back in 2004) after, I'm guessing, I lived there briefly when I was getting myself back on my feet after being made redundant. I wish I had a better memory!

I've calmed down about after my last post! That came after reading an article about the Crapita head monkey saying not enough young people are joining the armed forces because there's not enough wars! Try telling that to the 5,000 UK servicemen/women STILL in Afganistan you____!!!
I read that article and saw what the CEO of Capita said. It's a bit rich him coming out with what he did when his company has a history of bungling incompetence and questionable conduct on a scale that beggars belief. The mainstream press refer to Capita as "The Cock-Up Kings", such is the company's incompetence. Instead of awarding Capita more contracts, central government should be terminating the contracts they have and subjecting them to an in-depth investigation to establish just how much taxpayers' money they have wasted.

The only reason wars are fought is for large corporations to be able to plunder a nation's oil reserves and natural resources. History has shown this to be the case. Think Gulf War, then think Dick Cheney, then think Haliburton. The people of this world do not want war. They have realised it is smoke and mirrors. For example, did you know Standard Oil Company, an American company, was supplying oil to the Allied Forces and the Nazis during WW2?

As for the matter in hand, who asked you to submit a Subject Access Request (SAR) under Section 7, Data Protection Act 1998? HMCTS should be able to disclose that information without the need for an SAR. If you are not the defendant, you should not be pursued for something you have not done. If this has arisen as a result of errors on the part of HMCTS or Marstons, then the matter needs sorting - and quickly.

Perhaps it was made by someone trying to keep the debt alive.

That's for civil debts. This relates to an unpaid Magistrates Court fine. This sounds like an almighty balls-up by HMCTS, Marstons or both. HMCTS need to provide the OP with full details and, if there has been a cock-up, the £85 Administration Fee needs to be repaid.

I'm well aware of the military-industrial complex. Seriously nasty business.

The SAR was advised by my Union legal team and also the court front-line staff. I'm still slightly aghast that the court could not tell me which law this was being pursued under! Anyway, the court staff member was referring A LOT to a computer print-out and I requested a copy of it there and then, to which she replied 'sorry, you'd have to submit something called an SAR in order to get a copy of this and it wouldn't help you anyway - your issue is with Marston's, not the court'.
          So there we are.
One thing playing on my mind now is, my 'account' with Marston's is probably no longer on hold, which means one of their goons could come to my house at some point. Will they try charging me a further £215 for the privilege of dealing with them?

It sounds to me that the court staff don't have a clue what they are talking about. It is futile for the court staff to keep banging on about a computer printout. As soon as a query is raised which brings into question the validity of a conviction, the court staff should, if they follow correct procedures, suspend all enforcement action whilst the matter is being investigated. It is the court staff's responsibility to sort out any queries of this nature and not keep fobbing people off to Marstons, Collectica, Excel or Swift.

I would chase this up with the HMCTS Area Enforcement Team as time is of the essence. As I have said previously, HMCTS Area Enforcement Teams tend to be very helpful and should be able to get to the bottom of what is going on.

If Marstons do turn up throwing their weight about, I would have a copy of the email you sent to HMCTS Greater Manchester Area Enforcement Team ready to hand to the bailiff to show them that the matter has been escalated. If the bailiff has any sense, they will withdraw.

I understand that they may also have had some part to play in the sale or distribution of Zyklon B.

Are you saying the bailiff has about as much sense as a dead amoeba, Cloggy?

No - I'd say that they tend to have all the sense of a paramecium on amphetamine.

Amphetamines are good for you! ........ Or was it vitamines? ..... Can't remember now, better take both!
The Black rat (Rattus rattus) is a common (hence the accusation of being Pleb) long-tailed rodent of the genus Rattus (rats) in the subfamily Murinae (murine rodents). The species originated in tropical Asia and spread through the Near East in Roman times (another thing that we ought to thanks the Romans for, besides roads, aqueducts and public toilets) before reaching Europe by the 1st century and spreading with Europeans across the world.

A mutation of the beast now comes black leather clad, riding a motorcycle that looks like a battenbergh cake on wheels.

A skilled predator, totally ruthless with it's prey, but also known to be extremely generous in doling out tickes that can provide points for motorists who want to downsize from mechanically propelled vehicles to bycicles.

                          It is vitamins.

And you do know the difference between a vitamin and a hormone, don't you?

Makes you wonder if there hasn't been a Sixth Day Violation, as in a bailiff has been cloned, repeatedly......
