By removing the bailiffs right to step foot on his property and be left alone, to stop the bailiff removing his vehicle and be left alone and not cower in fear of them. I am just trying to help the member that there is other ways to deal with bailiffs ways they dont want you to know about.

Salsmoss, the thread is really turning quite distasteful because you and others are arguing one thing and yet what we are trying to say to the OP is to find someone who he can actually contact to sort out the fact that HE HAS PAID and HE OWES NOTHING MORE.

He asked about his car and so far nobody has even asked him whether it is on HP or not(so they cannot clamp it anyway). We are talking hypotheticals rather than offering him advice to sort out a problem in which he has PAID the fine/charge, whatever you wanna call it.

Let's actually talk about what the OP wants to do and not each person's agenda cos then we might actually help the OP(quite a novel concept, eh?)

I had a bailiff drop off a liability order to my home, i called the bailiff and stated to him on the phone that i was removing his right to enter my premises or i would charge him £1000, he said oh really and how are you going to do that, i said i just done it, he said il be there tomorow morning with the police, i said why you bringing the police they will attend to keep the peace only, he said il be there tomorrow to seize your goods...This was 2 years ago still not seen him.

and Salsmoss what relevance does that have to the OP who has paid twice and simply wants acknowledgement of that fact?

This is the relevance i have advised the doctor, the bailiff is ruthless and out to make money from those who dont know their rights.

I am a first year doctor, and need my car for work, so am desperate for it not to be levied.

I really need your help as to what to do if the bailiff comes to my house or calls now and also how can i rid myself of the fees based on what I've done so far.

Please, please stick to the OP's original question, if you all must start a debate then please have to good manners to start a new thread just for that and let the OP get some help and advice.
Please now get back to topic.

That was after he told us that he had paid the fine, paid the bailiff and could not get hold of the bailiff. He not only had PROOF of payment but ultimately he was playing the "what if...." scenario.
The basic tenement of his specific query is sorting out the former but being slightly worried about the latter. He's paid(twice from what I have seen and he's got proof). He might ultimately have a complaint against the bailiff if he takes any further action for non payment when payment has been made but none of us are that bothered cos all we care about is arguing two separate arguments.

I will say this openly. If two separate arguments keep breaking out when the thread is about Bailiffs then the forum will help absolutely nobody because it will confuse and confound the people that it seeks to use and they will simply go elsewhere for the advice because their trust in the advice given here will be gone.

My take is OP should send copies of the proofs of payment to Crapquita, and enclose a notice that he will be pursuing the Council and the bailiff jointly and severally for criminal harassment if they do not cease and desist the vexatious enforcement, it isn't a criminal fine it is a skanky council PCN with no right of forced entry. And send copies of the Formal Complaint he will be writing to the CEO and Council Leader, and copied to MP

There is no debate, someone posted some dangerous and misleading advice on post 6 no one from the " site team " questioned it or sought to protect the op from following it, so others had to point out the fact.

                          Re: Urgent bailiff advice required!

                          Hello there everyone,
Im sorry for the debates and conversations going off on a tangent..

But just to clarify, i have filled out a satutory declaration out of time sent it to the county council along with proof of payment's and a letter summarising all events, also forwarded this too equita and now thanks to the relevant advice Ive f found within this post I'll also forward it to the complaints departments at redbridge council..

I really appreciate everyone's input but just a further question.. As the bailiff tired to contact me today.. to which i told him ive already paid the declared fee before he made contact .. is the matter therefore settled and hence can he take any further action.. and how to prevent this.. can i just Present the statutory declaration and ask him to be on his way?

You should raise the matter of the Crapita infestation of your local council with your local councillors, as your case highlights just how inept Crapita can be.

Yes point out to the council that they are liable for any actions made by their appointed bailiffs.
