    Re: A joke

    Patchie,

Did you file the N244 as advised? If not, you need to do it. :beagle:

PLEASE listen to the advice given, and life will be MUCH easier for you. Going off doing your own thing may keep you busy, but it won't solve your problem and is likely to exacerbate your mental health.

File the N244 then do your best to forget about it - believe you me, I know how hard this can be, but try. Once you hear back, post up again. It would be good if you can post up to say the N244 is all sorted as well.

      Re: A joke

It is trying to close the business which is getting harder to do. The emotional strain of that is hard enough without this. You can understand the wanting to throw a blanket over my head and hide. Thanks for your message. It is much appreciated.

        Re: A joke

Let PT come back to you with the info, in the meantime if you need to vent and rant out your frustrations, then we are all here for you.

If you want to, put it all in to a PM and send it to me, if you dont want me to read it, title it please delete and I will. Sometimes it helps to get the way you feel out of your head, if that makes sense at all.

Please don't ever worry about needing someone to talk to, its a normal human need, especially at a rough time, and we all understand that you just want this whole sorry episode over with, right now you can't see it but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Soon enough you will see it and will be standing in it saying to the world "I did it!"

Yes, I can fully understand that. Emotional stress is very draining, but the HCEO issue will be taking its emotional stress out as well, and that is something it is within your hands to do something about very quickly. It also helps with one of the issues surrounding the shop, as you really don't need these characters around again.

The link is above, all you need to do is read the guidance, read Ploddertom's post again, complete it and send it off. You've achieved something really worthwhile and positive then. I have no doubt you can do it. :beagle:

            Re: A joke

The N244 sounds more daunting than it actually is. Having done quite a few of these now for various people the format I have does seem to work. Will be back later as I don't have it here.

                Re: A joke

Doing my own thing is following advice given to me by people who know better than me. Equally i want to get this stamped out as well so large organisations like Mind can use the info even though they can't do much else. It makes me feel better. I don;t know about a N244 if it helps I will do it. But please don't be critical as I am doing something and not hiding, support me don't kick me.

Please, please though do the N244 and get it sent in, your getting excellent advice here and I plead with you to follow it, once its done then pop into the area I've given you a link to and avail yourself of everything in there, start a thread and we will pop our heads in and support you.

                      Hi Patchie

I'm ready to help with the N244. Just so we know where we are going with it are you still of the opinion you can clear the original debt in full?

Whenever you're ready we'll do it a bit at a time to suit you.

                        Re: A joke

I will have to check on this as I am going to have a meeting with my family over this this weekend. The thing that annoys me more than anything is the fact we paid £1000 to these men and the client got £380 so it seems even they are not getting a fair deal either. I take it they take all sorts of "fees" and even the client gets rooked and they take that as part and parcel of dealing with collection agencies. If I can get the £1300 to clear it with the client then I have the joys of taking on the bailiffs trying to get their "lawful fees" which surely they have inflated the first time around. Can these idiots come more than twice or will they refer this over to another company? And if I pay money back to the client, they have stated they have to pay fees to these people as well how does that work? I have asked for a breakdown of fees.
There are so many questions on this. Depression sucks.

Or alternatively, a threat. One for the police perhaps.

There are obviously a lot of variables with this. The reason for asking if you were able to pay goes back to the fact you said you knew nothing of the original CCJ. For this you would have grounds for Set Aside & if granted it means in basic terms the CCJ no longer exists and any fees you have paid have to be reimbursed.

By all means ask all the questions you want & we'll see if we can answer them for you.

                              Re: A joke

The family thing never happened for various reasons -eldest son had an extended shift, he is a policeman, and other stuff (mainly going shopping) . But I can get the money together and i will have to sort through my post to see what is what with a CCJ.
The N244 - will that cause these idiots more pain? If so I am happy to go along with it. I have heard nothing from the Court or HCC yet.
I am still a bit ****ed with the fact the original company who started this seem content just to get £380 out of £1000 - any suggestions on trying to get them to query costs?

If you sort your letters, then at least we'll know wheteher or not you can go the N244 route. If you're struggling to pay it, there are also other routes you can take to get a variation to the terms of the judgment. Once you've done this, if you post up, I'm sure Plodder will guide you through things. :beagle:
