This is very frustrating ... it's a broad daylight robbery that too in the name of law. Feeling so helpless before these accredited bandits :tinysmile_cry_t:

I think an SAR may make Jamie Waller stop and think, PT. As you say, if the numpty, sorry, bailiff hasn't got a clamping order from the courts, his actions may well be unlawful, if not illegal. Trying to charge 4 x Letter Fees when only one letter, with all four PCN references on it, has been sent, is seriously extracting the urine.
Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.

bluebottle would you please advice me what course of action should I take to face-off JBW? I am thinking to lodge a formal complaint with the borough concerned against its agent (JBW) copying it to my MP and to JBW besides asking JBW about legality of its use of APNR and Clamping/towing away vehicles. I am also thinking to serve FoI request to DVLA to know what kind of motorists data the authority shares with private bailiff firms?

Update: I have sent an SAR request to JBW asking for all deatils they hold on my and also to provide proof that they had a valid clamping order signed by judge when my car was clamped . Also I checked on Hackney website, they have a complaints team and 3 stages of complaint. I will give them a call tomorrow to see how I go about making a formal complaint about JBW to them

Clamping Orders are only valid for particular Magistrates Court Fines, ask them instead to say which Regulation allows them to clamp. Have they levied on your vehicle previously for which you received a vaild Notice of Seizure.
