Which Laydown did you use out of interest....?

I normally do a seven card spread. The one I did was thus -

The Chariot - 7 of Pentacles - 8 of Cups - Ace Cups
Queen of Pentacles - 3 of Pentacles - The Empress

However, the way I read them is to place the palm of my right hand on each card or hold the face of the card against the palm of my right hand and then listen to what is coming through.

As regards the Tarot reading - may we know what your reading revealed, BB ? Bearing in mind the limitation that textual communication here imposes.

Messimoo's Wiccan warning isn't lost on me, either. I recall Dennis Wheatley's "The Devil Rides Out," where summoning the Angel of Death carries the guarantee that he will not return empty-handed. If unable to return with the appointed victim for any reason, he will return with the summoner.

There is, actually, an Angel of Death, Bill, but it is a benevolent angel. When our physical death occurs, our spirit detaches itself from the physical body. The angel will be there to take the deceased's spirit into the light and forward into the Spirit Realm. It is a beautiful angel, not the hooded skeleton as depicted in the "The Devil Rides Out". I'll PM you the outcome of the reading Bill and that goes for anyone else who wants to know what it is. I've already sent it to Celestine.

Thanks for that, BB. Since departing from 'organised religion' many years ago, I've learned to distance myself from the imagery that seems to have been conjured up by the 'Illuminati' to terrorise the peasants. Such concepts as the Grim Reaper and Eternal Damnation I now leave on the side of my plate. Personally, I now consider that my departure from this realm is simply the completion of another stage in my 'evolution.'

We get sent back to do another year at college - until we graduate. That's Hell - as far as I'm concerned !!! In the words of Steely Dan..."Get back, Jack - Do It Again.....Wheel turnin,' round and round..."

Eventually - I reckon - none of us has to come back any more - but perhaps some of us have to do a helluva lot of encores before we graduate......eh, Adolf ?
