"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Many of the anti bailiff comments on there are from me under different names anyway.
Good to see there is a link to this thread on there as well.
There are mentions on there about the bankers being bailed out with taxpayers money etc....nothing like chucking a grenade in to the argument on there eh! lol

Between July 2010 and November 2011 we have had nearly 100 threads featuring Rossendales bailiffs. This means that the unreasonable and unhelpful conduct of Rossendales bailiffs have prompted nearly 100 people to Google Rossendales Need Help and seek our advice.
That is not indicative of a firm who assist debtors in a reasonable and constructive manner.

Look at every comment on that blog - they are defending the company & are having a go at the ITV Exposure program.
            Yes, isn't it terrible?

If the reports I have read elsewhere about John Boast having a criminal record are true, could he have said what he did because he thought he could be blackmailed by ITV? Even so, it shows his ingratitude at being given a second chance when many employers would not have given him the time of day and his craven weakness in being the only bailiff being given a second chance by this remarkable company to have given in to whatever pressure ITV put on him.
What an arse licker you are mate.

This comment put on the same website but a different thread has not been allowed yet, still subject to moderation. I won't hold my breath though.

Campaign for change – Bailiffs: Why are they needed

I’ve read the first 20 or so comments and reached the conclusion that this is nothing more than a propaganda website, either that or the majority of those commenting are reincarnations of the same person. If they are posted by real beings, then the ill informed must represent around 90% of the population.

Although there are millions experiencing bailiff visits each year, the number representing members of the public who don’t receive them are greater. Forgive my cynicism for pointing out that this must have been the basic mathematical analysis for stating:

“If those that pay want to pay less, they need to support and encourage the use of bailiffs.”

This and similar statements are commonly heard, old and tired, and not unique in any way, in fact they are bog standard expressions that you are likely to hear regurgitated, day in and day out by government or council’s spokespersons.

If the uninformed did some research they would realise that many of the Liability Orders made by Magistrates’ courts are unnecessary and account for residents who are caught out by council’s automatic administration procedures that have minimal or no human involvement.

It is therefore true that many residents become part of the statistics, receive bailiff visits and are labelled tax dodgers who may have trivially small outstanding balances, occasionally been late with a payment or two, or in the worse case have no arrears whatsoever.

                HI
More damagingly they are moderating legitimate comments and questions whilst allowing posts from blatant debt dodgers who try to justify attempts to avoid payment with idiotic rhetoric.
This merely supports their contention that the outrageous bailiff practices are at least morally justifiable, and is in my view as damaging as anything that they could post on there.
Which is of course why the let them through

Her logic seems a bit addled:

It may surprise the general public to know that 4 million cases are issued to bailiffs each year with a value of over £1billion. That is enough revenue to pay the salaries of 30,000 newly qualified nurses and 20,000 new police recruits. Is it right that this amount of money just remains uncollected? Of course it is not, that is why bailiffs are needed.
The obvious flaw with that silly rhetoric is that neither council tax nor parking "fines" are used to pay for nurses and that only a proportion of the police budget comes directly from local authorities.

One might as well argue that, if NASA could send men to the moon, soap powders should wash better.

Hi Just seen the above web siote postd this

                    HI
Coincidently i started a thread on Legal Beagles which asked the question, “Do we need Bailiffs anyway”. Interestingly the thread had many comments giving the opinion that bailiffs had a role to play, and one that would not easily be filled by other means at least not in the current economic climate. A far more diverse reacting to the question, if I may say so than the self-congratulatory exercise in back slapping evident on this thread.
I think someone should inject a little reality into this discussion; firstly Bailiffs are not in business to help the national economy that with respect is nonsense. They are a business; they are there to make money for themselves. All this talk of money being raised for nurses is entirely beside the point. The bailiff should raise money for the authority that is what we employ them for.
                    They do a job for a fee; the questions are;
                    1) is that fee equitable
                    2) do they operate within the law.

There is no shame in being a "debt dodger" these days, in fact it's quite a badge of honour to be someone who rebels against what is effectively a form of terrorism/weapons of financial mass destruction.
Especially more so as well since the banks were bailed out with taxpayers money and the bankers refuse to repay what they owe.

You've got to wonder why if bailiffs are such paragons of society they were made illegal in Scotland.

Scotland no bailiffs? sounds like heaven. I think they are called Sherrifs officers or Mc Deputies or something.

If you free yourself from debt then you have effectively freed yourself from terrorism.
DCA's/bailiffs are just a part of that terrorism.
