  • Rossendales won't allow critical comments

ITV Exposure programme goes under cover in the enforcement industry | Rossendales Bailiffs Blog | Campaign for Change

Look at every comment on that blog - they are defending the company & are having a go at the ITV Exposure program.
Any posts that are critical of the company do not show on there.
If i didn't know better i'd say that they were being "selective" with their moderating

I'd be suprised if it did - i've tried to comment on there a few times today and each comment has been rejected.
They don't like negative comments it seems.

So leave a preposterously positive comment.

Can not see them letting this one through either

What a disgrace that program was.I find it hard to believe that they could put poor Julie through a grilling over a one off rogue Bailiff. We all know that Rossendales staff all act in an extremely professional manner and this one bad apple does not reflect the whole team.I for one will no longer watch ITV and have made a formal complaint .Why did they not follow the whole team around and get a true reflection of the day to day work carried out.Maybe thats the way forward have a television crew with all the staff and then we will see the “TRUTH”

Oh no i forgot that would never happen because on a daily basis all the Bailiffs employed by Rossenthieves break the law Regulation 45 and add illegal fees on to already debt ridden people. That is the real TRUTH so instead of hiding behind it why not just admit it and actually do something about it .Like not commission based bailiffs under pressure to charge as much as possible and hike up fees .you are all as bad as John.

Re: Rossendales won't allow critical comments

Both mine have been rejected. One was a true bailiff comment about bailiff companies in general, the other was somewhat OTT I admit.

They are being severely moderated though as while some are getting through, many are not.

Anyone have the e-mail of Julie at Rossendales? I am minded to ask her why perfectly reasonable posts are being moderated, especially when they support her view that the industry should be regulated.

Re: Rossendales won't allow critical comments

Well i just posted the following in response to some one from CAG posting something similar (though no link was provided by them)

Legal Beagles also have a number of threads with regards to Rossendales and the program aired by ITV. I appreciate that not all bailiffs are like Mr Boast, and do act correctly and within the law. But i do feel that Rossendales are only spearheading this campaign for change as, quite simply, a damage limitation excercise, and to bring in laws making it easier for bailiffs to force entry and use reasonable force against people to do this. Such as the implementation of section 3 of the TCE Bill to the Tribunals Courts and Enforcement Act 2007, which would allow such forced entry.

I also feel that Rossendales claims to not know anything about the actions of Mr Boast or any other bailiff they employ that acts in a similar way, is some what an insult to peoples intelligence, as no doubt letters of complaints people send to them about the actions of the bailiffs would make them more than aware of such bad practice being carried out by their bailiffs. So claiming they were not aware is some what naive.

As for the removal of negative comments, well if that is true which it appears it maybe, then all i can say is that it truely shows that Rossendales are being selective, where as any good company would accept critism and even respond to such negative comments, rather than hide them from the public

Anyway here is a link to the thread on legal beagles, where both postive and negative comments about Rossendales can be posted – http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...ad.php?t=31500

                      Regards

I posted asking if Steven Curnow prosecuted in 2007 for misrepresenting his powers, whilst working for Rossendales (as he still does) was a bad apple/single rogue bailiff, and if so that made two now!
AND THEY PUT IT UP! Hope it stays there lol

I work at Rossendles and I would gladly sell my home and all my belongings, just for the privilege of working there.

                          Couldn't resist the **** take

that lasted 20 seconds I think they are monitoring this thread :-)

They seem to have loosened their moderating somewhat as i ve noticed more negative comments about bailiffs being allowed on - they even give "Legal Beagles" a mention! lol
Anyway, seeing loads of them (including Julie Green-Jones herself) trying to justify why bailiffs are needed is just laughable quite frankly.
