Hi i awoke this morning to find a piece of paper through my door Notice of Distress.
Went out to my car and it had been clamped.
I rang the bailiff and told him to come and remove the clamp as my car was on finance, he said he had checked and said it wasn't, i am still paying it so i know it is.
He told me i had to pay £1742.74(council tax bill) i said this was impossible and i didn't have the money he said he was coming back.
When he came back he said he was ordering a tow truck to remove my car .
I need my car to get to work i called the police who attended and told me he could just take the car.
I understand it was my fault i got into this mess and spoke to my sister who agreed to help me pay the bill in full however he added £150 because the tow truck had turned up to tow my car i have receipt for the money but am peeved that they have charged me in total £439.31 on top of my original bill can i claim these back now i have paid or am i on a hiding to nothing
