You are in a perfect position now to ensure, as far as is possible, that the council educates its staff (particularly the Head of Revenues) and changes its ways of operating when it comes to bailiff issues.

Let us know how you get on.

A couple of things I love about cases like this. Firstly, and the main thing, is that I can pretty much guarantee you will never again let yourselves get into this position which is great. Secondly when I first made contact with you, you were in one hell of a state on the site across the road. We got a long way there, but needed Amy, so I suggested you come over here which you did, Amy supplied the necessary and we put a letter together to the CEO that really left him no choice but to recall the debt. I'd love to know what he had to say to his Head of Revenues after receiving that as well. But that's not the point, the point is it has been really good watching you grow in confidence handling this from the jibbering wreck to the I've had it recalled but I still want those other fees back. That is an absolutely brilliant transformation and makes every little bit of help from everyone who chipped in worth their while. I am so pleased for you!
