I do not have proof of posting but indeed have proof of them cashing against the cheque!

Further to this I have also a recording in which one of customer service advisors confirmed that they had received the letter and read the first part of the letter to me!

You need firstly to complain to the data comissioners office. Once this has been done and they have done their job would you be better off issuing against jbw for non compliance. You must complain to the ico first.
If you have any sort of problems with bailiffs. I can help you as i am a self proclaimed specialist at dealing with them. I am hopefully going to start a degree (law) from october. If you have waited for the 40 days and have had no reply. Write to jbw twice over a period of say 30 days and remind them that you have not had a reply from the in response to your sar. If they then still ignore you. You then complain to the ico here :
Data Protection and Freedom of Information Advice - Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Find the form you need to complain and log a complaint with them. This should then trigger a response from jbw or if they still fail then your next step would be to start a claim for non compliance. You need to do the ico bit so it toughens up your side of the wall. I will try and find a picture of jessop.

What did they say to her and how did they find out where she lives?

Slowly, slowly catchy monkey - it'll all be fine, but you really need that SAR information. Are the 40 days up? If so, do you want to go the ICO route or the court route?

I know which one I would choose.

                      Re: Jbw Bailiff

Waller has a very bad habit of playing the system in court. Before you go anywhere complain to the ico and at the same time do a claim for non compliance. So while one is running the other is also along side by side. This is what you need to do. also when you issue your claim you need to sue both the council/la and jbw together. Also any correspondance you get post it on here. The main thing is you need to kill the tickets before you do anything.

OP - could you post up the actual parking tickets you received in full (and if possible e-mail copies of them to me separately, sending you my e-mail via pm). There is an alternative way of getting these tickets set aside using Common Law which I'm happy to pursue for you while others pursue this line.
