      Re: newbie here

excellent news today have a look at this email from burnley court
      Dear Ms Day

I have checked our records and the register of certified bailiffs and can not find an entry for Mr E Leadley. Mr Leadley was once certified by this office but that certificate has expired. I suggest you take legal advice about the matter and that you put your complaint in writing to Rundle & Co.

You can file a complaint against a certified bailiff but as Mr Leadley does not appear to have a certificate I am unable to advise you.

You could try the Association of Civil Enforcement Agencies at ACEA - Association of Civil Enforcement Agencies or Enforcement Services Association at ESA | Member Directory

I love the way even the courts refer to them as "certified"

omg ,i think rundles are playing games with me
just received this email from rundles

                Dear Mrs Day

I can confirm receipt of your recent e-mails, the contents of which has been duly noted.

I can confirm that we have been in constant liaison with our client, Great Yarmouth Borough Council, throughout this enforcement action and the offer to remove the first and second visit fees was agreed as an acceptable course of action by our client.

In regards to your comments regarding Lord Denning’s judgment, I must point out that this is not applicable to any account pertaining to unpaid Council Tax and therefore this judgment is irrelevant in this instance.

As previously advise the levy conducted by Mr. Leadley is correct and legal and therefore I would re-iterate that your removal of he seized item is in itself an offence of Pound Breach. The vehicle in question still remains the property of our company and will be seized and removed to be sold at auction from any property where it is found within England and Wales unless the full outstanding balance on your account is paid.

With regards to Mr. Leadley’s certification, I must apologise for the incorrect information previously given which was caused by an administration error. I can confirm that Mr. Leadley’ previous certificate was granted at Burnely County Court however was subsequently renewed in December 2009 at Preston County Court. Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion caused in this matter.

In closing, I would re-iterate the requirement for discharge of the outstanding balance on your account of £177 in order conclude this matter and prevent further action and possible fees.

                Sincerely

                Natalie

So it would appear he definitely is not certificated then.

Hold tight for Cet, he wants to speak with you again.

This thread needs to be moved somewhere more private for the time being.
