  • Notice of Issue

    Good evening

I have today received the notice of issue of my claim through CCMCC.

I thought it would tell me the date of posting, date of service and when the defendant should respond by but all the spaces for the dates are blank.

All I have is the date of issue.

Is this normal that I work it out myself or do I need to contact CCMCC?

    Thank you for reading.

The defendant has 14 days plus 3 days for service (17 days) from the issue date to acknowledge service, if they don’t you may apply for summary judgement.

If they acknowledge service they have 28 days plus 3 days for service from the date of issue to file a defence.
