Joint witness statement (husband and wife)?

Hi,

I have a case coming up where my wife and I are defendants. The only difference in our witness statements where I state I had to remedy work done by the contractor. I my wife's statement, she states that I remedied the work. Will submitting two, near identical witness statements annoy the judge or will they expect it?

So long as they aren't word for word identical other than the additional bit about remedy... it's expected that they would mirror one another as you're both witness to the same events.
