  • Small business invoices not being paid

Hi can anyone advise me if I can put a 'clause' or something at the bottom of my invoices to say you will get charge if not paid within 30 days?
    Many thanks!!

I overprice by 10-20% and offer discount of 10-20% for prompt payment, some do and some don't.

To be able to apply the charge I would think you would have to place a clause in your terms of business that go with quotes stating you charge for late payment of invoices, because then it would be recoverable in a court. You could still place the warning at the bottom of the invoice to remind them. No excuses then as they agreed to your terms of business and you warned them again with the invoice.
