Hi I just have found this forum by browsing details and I need some advice in 2013 I had my pension transferred into The Carney Ltd Retirement Scheme with investment into Disruptive Tech Ltd (companies involved in the process were Yardstick Marketing/Integra and Pension Matters Associates, Carney RBS) after the initial letter I have not heard from them soon I have realised It was a scam I have reported it to Action Fraud tried to find the companies involved set out some letter but without any results. I have given up on getting my money back till today I was organising my documents and came across the documentation from this scam and decided to browse the internet. I can see there is hope and I am so happy but not sure where to start as there were many companies involved in this, who should take to court?

Have you spoken with the Ombudsman at all ? How much approx. was the amount you believe you may have lost?

Couple of relevant decisions related to the companies you mention ( go through to the actual determinations PDF documents for full details )

Hi thank you the amount transferred was £ 6,248.34 I put a complaint via FCA but without any luck. I could not locate Ian MacPhail nor Carney RBS. I will look into the ombudsman but I think it is criminal, I have given up for many years but I want to reopen this case and get my money back

Via the FCA - do you mean through the Financial Ombudsman ? or you just filed a complaint with the Financial Conduct Authority ?

Give the Pensions Ombudsman a ring and see what they say.... how long ago did you make the complaint to the 'FCA' ?

The FCA don't deal with individual complaints - they will take reports from people and add them to their file to look at whether companies need investigating etc. Did they come back to you at all ? ( with anything other than 'we'll pass it to xyz team, you may not hear anything unless we need more evidence" type stuff ?

I was scammed in exactly the same manner. Mine was a Civil Service pension and I also contacted Pension Ombudsman {not overly helpful tbh}. Well done on trackiing this scumbag down though.
