Also, would it help to request copy of Deed of assignment? Can they refuse?
If they are debt purchasers, should I ask for copies of default notices/ Termination notices?
Would appreciate your take on this?

Yes. Sent CCA Request but two years ago.
They only came back a week ago.
I also requested copy of assignment, but they have ignored that.

They usually do (who is the original creditor/debt purchaser?)

My firm tends to make an Application to the court to force disclosure of the deeds (even though we have probably got them in our 'library') but this is not something for the fainthearted because it usually results in a fierce contest in court.

We win but a LIP will have an uphill struggle I'm afraid.

We find the conditions attached to the sale are interesting.
