  • PLUSNET PACKAGES & REWARDS (Gifts) ummmmmmmmmm?????????/////

well over the phone I took out a broadband/phone package for 18 months with Plusnet, I mentioned that I saw an advert for £50.00 reward, yes stated the operator, would you like to go ahead - yes I stated and all went ahead.
3 months later I have had no correspondence regarding the reward opps GIFT! you will see the word later!

so after 3 months having no communication regarding the reward I did a on line chat to them after waiting ages to be told I should of put a claim in 10 days after, or within 2 months as per internet information sheet> I pointed out I opened it by phone to Plusnet agent who agreed the reward was being offered, no mention was made that I would have to claim soon for it and a time limit in place, and would I like to go ahead with the change over I agreed,

told any complaint will have the same outcome - no reward, then if complaint made it would be internal with the agent concerned only and treated as internal matter, and repeat outcome no refund, and it is not part a verbal contract but a GIFTED promotion.

so bad day and bad communication, probably would of done better thru a cash back site? so await downline now for 18 month contract to run out??? comments?

You should have received an email within the first 10 days telling you how to apply

So if you were enticed to sign the contract because of an offer, but if you couldn't claim the offer because they failed to advise you of the conditions and manner of claiming, that was no offer.
That, in my book, amounts to falsity or misrepresentation and would enable you to void the contract.

Well Resolver works - Plusnet marketing just rang me sorted issue out, and apologised but normal interenet sign up the case would be lost, but as I opened plusnet by phone the system of gifting failed, they will give me the said gifted amount within 2 weeks.

That is what I call service so quick less than 30 minutes after reporting through resolver, and a credit to Plusnet for very quick response - case settled to saisfaction

Blimey that is speedy ! I guess it's a case of seeing if the £50 shows up within the 2 weeks before celebratng too much but sounds hopeful.

Did you find Resolver easy to use?

very easy to use all sorted with in one hour of using Resolver, as you say Ame 10 days to 2 weeks a credit should appear back into account?
