Hello my grandson is with Santander he has logged into his account and found that he was £1.47 short of a payment so no he owes them £93 is they anything he can do i was going to put some money in but he says no can anyone advise please they have charged £25 per day x

Was this a first occasion and did he pay in the money as soon as he realised it was over?
Is this the first time?
I would probably argue that if this was his first time and that it was a small amount that the charge is disproportionate to the offence and whether they would consider refunding the charges as a gesture of goodwill.
Alternatively, if you have a substantial amount of money with Santander simply argue you'd take your money elsewhere(strangely enough this argument could also work )."Family means that no one gets forgotten or left behind"
