Hi and welcome, we don't advise to use real names on here, as many institutions read the forums and it's not always good to be recognised. If that is not your real name or your hubbies then fine.

Hi Maureen, I've got your full message through the contact form I can change your username for you if you let me know what you'd like to change it to ( I won't just do it else you won't be able to log in ).

I think the first thing we need to know is - do you have a basic list of the debts ( lender/DCA & approx amount ) - and whether anything is in yours or joint names - I think you will be needing to write to ask the lenders to write off the debts. In circumstances such as yours many (most) of the creditors are usually pretty good.

Are you getting some support ?

Ame will be along soon and change your user name, just asking are you getting all you are entitled to for your hubby and you as a carer ? tell me to mind my own if you like, but you have enough to deal with now and in the future so the more help you get the better xx

Again thanks for your help, i will have to go through my husband's papers and bank to see who he was paying, we are getting all the help as regards money, the C.A.B have done a first class job. will be in contact soon. again thanks, it's so nice to turn around and find someone there ready to help.
