I have worked for this manager for over 3 years and several times she's made negative comments to me but only when we are alone. Once she even told me she wondered if hiring me was a mistake. I've been a manager for 20+ years and never had any issues with my management style. I have never received a negative review. I have never been suspended, repremanded or terminated from any job. However, it is her opinion that my management style is bad. Yes she was unable to substantiate this with any truthful reasons. During my time with this employer, I have out performed everyone in my department and saved the company a great deal of money.
I was given my performance evaluation and told my manager I didn't agree with some of her negative comments. I wrote "I dont agree with several opinions of my manager in this review" and as I was leaving her office she said you are suspended. She followed me into my office and waited for me to grab my purse and leave the building. She gave no reason for the suspension, no time frame or information such as will I continue to receive my pay or not.
