  • CCJ after 6 years

I have been paying towards a CCJ for over 6 years and want to know what will happen if i stop the standing order? The order was to a solicictor and I'm now in the 7th year and 2nd month of payment's. (74x payment)
Can I stop the payment's and forget about the debt?
Can they still come after me?
My debt was bigger than what I have paid.
I no longer live in the UK but do have a private pension within the UK and can't touch it yet.as I'm under the age of 55.
    Any advice would be great

The judgment will still be enforceable until paid off.
Do you own your own home? Do they hold any security like a charging order ?
Have you considered negotiating a full and final settlement to bring it to an end?
