Hello all,
This is my first post so be gentle
I had a letter from the Lowell Group regarding an outstanding debt. they asked me to make a suggestion of what I can afford to pay each month.
I replied with what I could afford. I have now received a letter from them saying that the took my suggestion as admittance of guilt and that I now have a CCJ and that I should proceed to pay what I suggested.
this seems very under hand to me that they can ask me for a suggestion of payment and use that you get a CCJ against my name.
So my question to you is are they allowed to do this?
thanks
