  • Just thought i'd stop here for a while

    Hi

The site looks like a nice place to stay for a while. Had a claim go thru already and thought it would be rude not intro myself.

Roamed around a bit but never settled and this looks like a great watering hole.

See you all around i guess.

          Hi Max

          Welcome to Beagles!

I'm glad you've decided to stop here a while, it's a very friendly and knowledgeable place.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Hi Max, we're all weary of the travels we've been on lately, this place is shaping up to be a great place to rest our heads and you are more than welcome!

Celestine will buy the first pint at the watering hole as well!
