  • Lloyds credit card ppi

Hi, I have been contacted by a PPI claim company asking if I've had any credit cards loans etc. with Loyds (I've had many over the years). I did ask Loyds a couple of years ago about ppi and they told me that I've never had any. I never new about PPI on credit cards until the claim company rang me (their service cost 30% of any reclaimed money). My query, is how can i find out myself if there is any hidden ppi on my credit card. Sorry in advance if this topic has been covered but my searches and limited knowledge brought me to this page. Thankyou for any information .

PPI payments should appear on you credit card statements (whenever it shows a debit) if you had it.

Banks are pretty good with helping with this these days, so ask Lloyds again https://www.lloydsbank.com/payment-p...complaints.asp

Failing that you can send Lloyds a Subject Access Request which costs £10 but should get you information on any PPI policies you had with them.

      Hiya,

There won't be hidden PPI n your credit cards, it will show on your statements as a separate charge each month, payment protection or card protection etc.

There is no need to use a claims company - it is simple to claim yourself - most banks now have forms to complete on their websites, and if they say no you can complain to the FOS.

I never had any PPI on anything so it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that you had just said no when you took out the cards, but worth having a look at your statements.

Also any other old loan agreements you might have stashed away.

Have a research if you might have HAD PPI ( the CMCs tell you you have even if you haven't) then if you post up the companies names we can find the info you need. Some info and links to the main banks here http://lbcompare.co.uk/compare-claim...ion-insurance/ .
