Wrong day rate in my last payroll. Permanent employee

Hi everyone,


Straightforward case. I've been employed for around 10 months and I was made redundant on the 5th February. I signed for a pay of 5 days + 1 month (entitlement as notice period) + 1.5 day holiday remaining. Total £7459.57 gross.


At the moment I was communicated this I wasn't showed the breakdown of expenses. I didn't ask as it didn't cross my mind. So I signed.


Now I receive the payroll with the breakdown but I suspect they have made a mistake. From those 5 days are paying me £266.73 per day.


However my annual salary in 2016 is £69,350. £5779.16 monthly. £288.95 per day.


If I was right do I have any possibility to claim something assuming that I signed already for the total amount first place?

69350/52 weeks/5 days = £266.73

How have you worked it out ? 20 days a month? What is on your monthly payslips ?

Yes, that's how I thought it should be calculated. My monthly payslip states £5779.16 gross. Therefore £288.95 daily (£5779.16/20).

69350/52 weeks/5 days = £266.73

Now I'm assuming that the calculation is done in this way, as it is exactly the amount they put in the "redundancy" payslip.
