I lent £200,000 to a friend from law school 15 years ago to start a no win/no fee law firm. The equity split was 70/30 profit split, 50/50 capital. He has paid me since then £10,000 a month until recently when my marriage broke down. He knows I am at a weak point and is trying to take advantage of me by claiming he knows nothing of this agreement. My claim appears to be be for £10,000,000 and I cannot afford the Stat dec costs, etc. How would I go about getting assistance? I have all the evidence backed up by a Family Court appointed Forensic Accountant - due to the divorce.. Andrew.. She wants half naturally and have no problem with that!

Re: Contigency fee Lawyer? Anyone want a case?
That sounds more like an investment than a loan. You paid £200k and have had share of profits back for 1.8 million over the 15 years. The company is currently valued at £10million? and your wife wants half of that ( so you could transfer 50% of your shareholding to her? )
Is the NWNF firm still trading ?
Are you a shareholder in the firm ?
Are you on all the company documents ?#staysafestayhome
Any support I provide is offered without liability, if you are unsure please seek professional legal guidance.

I have re-written a word document that outlines the case in question. I cannot seem to upload it as a .doc, so it is saved as a .pdf.
The Company is still trading but it is not a straightforward claim as you will see!
Kind regards,
