Hi everyone
Am new here and I think I am posting this in the right place?!!
I have a current outstanding debt of £3775.00p which was with Barclays CC. Due to the onset of MS i was unable to continue working and came to an agreement with Barclays ( sometime in 2010 ) to pay a fixed amount of £26.00 per month.I have been making this payment ever since and have not missed any payments. Barclays wrote to me over a twelve month ago, saying that Link outsourcing were now looking after the Debt and i was to continue with the payment to them, which i have been doing. Today i received a letter from Link stating that my account was due for review with an attached Application For Reduced Payment Plan form attached( I thought i already had this with Barclays). Their letter states they reserve the right to request immediate payment of outstanding balance if I don't complete the form, they also suggest to save time I ring a 0800 number they have supplied. I am concerned about their motives on this and am not sure what to do next. Should I ring them, am i legally obliged to complete the form??. I probably should supply more detail but any comments would be appreciated.
