Hope you can help with some advice. On Friday of last week my employer held a Christmas Party for all the staff at a local venue. Apparently some of the toilets were vandalised and the GM has sent an email out today saying that he intends to stop payment of the Christmas Bonus to pay for the repairs.
Until the email came out I had assumed that we weren't getting a bonus anyway as it hasn't been mentioned. Now I find out I was getting a bonus which is likely to be withdrawn because of something that happened at a function which I didn't attend in any case.
Do I have an argument?
