  • Volountry termination off vehicle finance

I have vehicle finance through the funding corporation
of which I have paid off 50 percent of the loan
i thought I was entitled to vollountry termination
however have noticed in there paperwork they say this option is not available ? What are my rights the vehicle
is not worth any where near the balance and although we are all expected to read small print these are important notes that should have been pointed out
when signing as my safeguard was taken away and I am now struggling to pay the monthly payments

They can't just take the facility away if it is applicable, it could be a type of loan where they don't have to offer VT. What type of load is it? It may be helpful to post up a scan of the paperwork.

Thank you for your reply it is a Credit Sales Agreement it says unlike a
Hire purchase agreement there are no VT rights so we are unable to hand the vehicle back due to the finance being secured on bill of sale ? I would of thought the VT would apply to
All credit ? Hope so can Can you advise it's much appreciated

      Kind regards Clive mac

I believe that as it's a Bill of Sale then you do not have VT rights. Let others come along to confirm, or otherwise.

It would be helpful fi a copy of the agreement could be shown and then we can consider what options if any oyu might have.
