You need to establish if this alleged debt is enforceable, if it is statute barred that is a complete defence.
For statute barred on a current account we need to know when the account was recalled for payment in full?
As this is not a CCA 1974 regulated debt what documents are mentioned in the Particulars of Claim (POC)?
A CPR31.14 request to Restons to get copies of all documents mentioned in the POC.
Make a check on Credit Reference files to see what if anything is showing there. -
