It could be either
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuro-l...ic_programming
Not to be confused with Natural language processing (also NLP)
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created byRichard Bandler and John Grinder in California, United States in the 1970s. Its creators claim a connection between the neurological processes ("neuro"), language ("linguistic") and behavioral patterns learned through experience ("programming") and that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural...age_processing
Natural language processing (NLP) is a field of computer science, artificial intelligence, and linguistics concerned with the interactions between computers and human (natural) languages. As such, NLP is related to the area of human–computer interaction. Many challenges in NLP involve natural language understanding, that is, enabling computers to derive meaning from human or natural language input, and others involve natural language generation.

What are the Accessing Cues?

These are the directions in which a person moves their eyes when thinking about unfamiliar information. They provide us with an educated guess as to how the person is thinking enable i.e. whether they are thinking us to recognise how a person is thinking from watching how they move their eyes.
I just went with the second option because Madricky mentioned eye movements in his first post

To the OP - Madricky:

Who is the CEO (MD) of the company that provided your course? If you know, or can find out, then I think you should write to him/her with what you have said above and insist that your money is refunded. It's my personal opinion that these people are charlatans, FWIW.

Re: Verbal Abuse - Hi everyone I am new here

The establishment is private. There is one student who has contacted me about the incident, but she is frightened of being thrown out of the school if she supports me. I do have a written apology from the teachers concerned. I have written to the head several times and after the first email, they promised they would write again but they have not replied. The head has accepted that an 'unwitting' remark was made, but has spoken to 3 other students who have confirmed that it was not said with malice. In my opinion because one of the other trainees said 'goodbye Posh Psycho' I was labelled as a result of what the comments previously passed by the teacher concerned. I have all he information collated to send to the British Council, who accredit the company. I appreciate your interest in this matter and look forward to your reply

Re: Verbal Abuse - Hi everyone I am new here

Hi Madricky,

In your shoes I would definitely write to the British Council with your evidence and complaints as well as the proprietor of the private establishment that supplies the course. I would also apprise the Cambridge English people (this man in particular: http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/about/who-we-are/) of what is being taught, and how it is being taught, under their official umbrella. I wonder whether they do endorse the teaching of such an unaccredited, commercial and controversial system as NLP as an integral part of their otherwise (presumably) academically rigorous course.

It is true that what can cause a target such intense discomfort may be perceived by the perpetrator as lighthearted teasing but you have their apology (admission) and it really doesn't matter what the other students think - they weren't the ones on the receiving end, where such things feel very different. Bullying is never justified and should never be institutionally endorsed.

The least they can do (IMVHO) is return your fees pro rata for the proportion of the course that you are unable to complete due to the effect that the unprofessional actions of the tutor have had upon you. I'm frankly astonished that they haven't simply refunded all your fees with an unreserved apology.

I wish you luck aw: xx

Re: Verbal Abuse - Hi everyone I am new here

As per Miss FM the very least is return of unused portion of fees.

In fact as they have apologised in writing, and therefore implicitly admitted the bullying, the only thing for a court to do (if you were to claim compensation) would be to set the amount.

I'm not advising you to go to court, but I'm amazed they haven't agreed to meet your extremely modest demands.
