  • I am so so sorry

I owe you all a huge explanation and an even bigger apology.

I am so incredibly sorry that I haven't been on the forums for so long - my health has been extremely poor and I also had to change jobs because of this. I've had several hospital admissions for various reasons - surgery, pain relief, symptom control etc (sadly I was in hospital a lot in November for surgery and symptom control and I couldn't travel to the Brighton meet up. I really feel guilty and a terrible person for not attending)

As time passed by I also felt very embarrassed that I hadn't been on the forums and felt like I was been very ungrateful towards you all. You had all supported me so much when I needed it and then I go and disappear into thin air - its not exactly showing the deep gratitude I really do feel towards the forum and its amazing members. I became scared to come back to the forums as I feel I have let you all down and I don't deserve to be part of the forum anymore.

Life has been somewhat of a challenge and I've been very anti social to everybody I have hidden away and just tried to keep going on a basic level.

I really hope that you will accept my sincere and heartfelt apology and understand that I just couldn't cope with anything and just shut down from everything and everybody.

Your health comes FIRST no one on here will not accept your apology and wish you well.

I second that, life will grind you down from time to time and you will want to hide. Talking to strangers does help some people, good luck

Re: I am so so sorry

As wales said your health comes above all, everyone needs a break from time to time and no one should feel guilty about not visiting the forums.
So do not apologise for being absent and do not feel that you do not deserve to be here.
Am pleased, or hope you are on the mend health wise, other than that carry on regardless.
        Best wishes
        Enaid xx

I feel I do need to apologise as I really do feel guilty about being away from the forums, especially as I am now in need of help again as Lowells have re surfaced and causing me trouble yet again

Fuzzy, I posted on your Lowell's thread, seek Kate's help ASAP. We also have some excellent letters which could be sent to Fredrickson's for the harassment, but first you must make contact with Kate as she was dealing with your case and I feel she would want to deal with it her way.

As already said, your health is of paramount importance, if you need help we are here for you and there is no need to apologise.

You know I never made the meet either, I had a fall and fractured my wrist in multiple place and was actually on the operating table at exactly the time of the dinner - gosh how I wish I could have been in brighton, but sadly my wrist was so bad I had to have this operation to mend my wrist with plates and screws.

You take care hun and a happy and a more healthier new year 2014 xxxx

I am so sorry to hear you've been unwell too Tuttsi - between the two of us we make a right pair and probably keep the NHS in business

I hope your wrist mends quickly and you and the rest of LB have a healthy, wealthy and happy 2014 xx

Fuzzy xxx All you have described is NORMAL forum use!! Many people (especially Leclerc ) go away for a bit, try to get on with life, get knocked back, suffer ill health etc and return to find help when they need it most.
Your own health is especially challenging and you must never feel the need to apologise! We had someone pop up a few months ago who I hadn't seen for over 3 years!! In fact its always a lovely surprise to reconnect with old friends, catch up and see what needs sorting out!

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
