      Definitely young enough! I would say you should count as vulnerable. Also agree with PT - if they can't collect they have to return it to the council by law, so they're bound to put in a final effort at some stage.

        You need to advise both Council & Bailiffs that you are a single parent with a young child and according to the National Standards for Enforcement Agents to which they are signed up to, you should be classed as vulnerable and treated as such.

        Usual answer they make is that the Standards are only guidelines and not Law - a case of wanting it both ways. If that happens then it is time to escalate to a higher level involving others - local Councillor(s), MP, Council CEO, Leader of the Council etc.

        If JBW become belligerent it will be time to remind the Council of their responsibilities, as JBW are acting as an agent of the Council.
