I rented my home out 4 years ago when I moved into my boyfrinds house but he died 2 years ago suddenly. The house went to his children and I moved into rented property myself. I have now recovered from the ordeal and also my son has returned from uni, I have a daughter at home also. As the rented property I am in is 2 bedroomed I need my home back. I´ve served sction 21 on my tenant but she is refusing to move. I´ve been told I need to send a pre action letter befor going to court, which I dont really want to do.I am unsure if there is a form I can fill in or a letter and what content I need to put in the letter.

Re: pre action letter
If she won't leave voluntarily following the section 21 notice then you have to go to court to enforce posession. I'm not sure if you need a further preaction or not though but this site LandlordZONE Property Forums will have much more experience in these issues and will have template letters you can use.#staysafestayhome
