I am writing to seek your urgent advice regarding a County Court claim I have recently received from Private Parking Solutions (London) Ltd, issued through the Civil National Business Centre.
I would like to highlight the following points:
1. I do not recall parking at the stated location (Middlesex Business Centre, Southall UB2 4AB), and I have no memory of seeing any signage or entering into any parking agreement.
2. I was not aware of any prior correspondence regarding this matter (no clear recollection of receiving a PCN or follow-up letters before this claim).
3. The claim contains an error in my firstname. It is addressed to “Mrs ----ersa" whereas my correct name is “Mrs ----era.” I am concerned about the accuracy and validity of the claimant’s records.
4. The amount claimed (£269.51) appears to include additional costs which may not be justified or enforceable.
Given the above, I would appreciate your guidance on the following:
• The best course of action in responding to this claim
• Whether we should file an Acknowledgment of Service and proceed with a full defence
• The strength of a defence based on lack of contract, unclear signage, and incorrect identification
• Whether the incorrect naming has any legal impact on the validity of the claim
Please let me know if you require any further information.
As the response deadline is approaching, I would be grateful for your prompt advice.
Kind regards,
