I've just had a letter from court to say if dcbl haven't paid court costs by today my case will be thrown out .There's nothing on mcol how would I find out should I ring the court to find out if I need to attend court in may

I'd leave it for a week or two before contacting the court .... it takes time for records to be brought up to date

have you received directions from the court about filing your WS or a date for the court hearing?

It won't hurt to prepare your WS anyway, as better written without the pressure of working to a deadline.
Obviously it will not be required if the claim is struck out due to non payment of the hearing fee

No haven't received directions from court about my witness statement .I'll look at examples first and post my final statement for you to look at if that's ok , thanks for your time

Had a letter from dcbl offering to reduce my fine from 300 to 60 pounds ,I didn't accept, tried to contact court by phone then email yesterday, no reply , managed to get through today and I've been informed my case has been discontinued. I'm so happy and would like to thank DES8 for all your help guiding me through this couldn't have done it without you thank you thankyou

Well that's good news.

Do you know if the claimant discontinued, or if it was automatically discontinued because of non payment of hearing fee?
In any event don't dispose of your paperwork yet!

They discontinued on the 19th of April I was told
