        • I'm just getting a bit concerned that after sending my directions questionnaire to court and to dcbl I've received no response. I posted it next day delivery to court on Thursday
I have checked mcol and nothing there just says theyve received claimants dq or does it take longer for acknowledgement

          • The court office won't have looked at it yet!

                • You sent the DQ 24hr tracked to court, so check with Royal Mail that it was delivered.
                  Court responses are not quick!

                      • Hello I've just had my mediation phone call I told him I wanted to proceed to court . He said that I could end up paying a lot more also said I gad stayed 2 hours over my ticket not 20 mins as I had thought I definitely would not have done a 2 hour ticket but stressed to him that the machines weren't working properly. He said if I couldn't prove that, which I can't, then I probably might be better settling with them .

                        • Well you are where you are now.

20 min or 2hours over doesn't actually affect the claim or the outcome.
The claim is for breach of contract.

Your defence has nothing to do with whether the machines were or were not functioning correctly, so I can't understand why the matter was brought up.

As the driver (and it seems you have admitted to them you were the driver) the amount claimed can be challenged.
As the registered keeper POFA states the maximum amount recoverable.

See your defence about amount claimable
So if you lose in court point it out to the judge (politely!)

In any event DCBlegal will probably approach you again to try and reach a compromise.
Read your defence again before trying to negotiate
