              See post 74!

DCBL will probably be next with a letter saying they intend to proceed with the court claim, and here is a copy of the N180 form they have filed with the court.
You too will need to complete that form (a directions questionnaire).
The court should send you a blank copy for completion, but you can download it from here: https://www.gov.uk/government/public...l-claims-track

If you don't receive the Directions Questionnaire within 8 weeks of submitting your defence then it may be worth calling the court and checking on progress

                            • It also asks why I would want the hearing held in the court I've requested to which I've answered that it is my local court and I'm familiar with the area
                              is this answer acceptable
                              Thsnkyou

                              • Regarding the court hearing location CPR26.3 (3) indicates " if the defendant is an individual and the claim is for a specified sum of money, at the relevant time the claim must be sent to the defendant’s home court ".
So you need only state that you prefer the case is heard in your local court as per CPR.

Regarding whether or not you want an in person hearing or paper hearing the allegation about threatening letters has no purpose. Keep your reason to there being factual disputes which need to be resolved
