Hi everyone can anyone tell me does a licence to occupy,given to a property buyer prior to completion, need to have the consent of both owners of the property in question? Also does the licence have to be drawn up signed off by a solicitor? Many thanks

Such licenses are informal in nature.
They are also very unwise from both sides.
The buyer waives his right to object if any problem comes up on the title, and the seller has no means of recovering possession. The soicitor should advise very strongly against it.
