  • Do I need to complete the Small Claims Direction Questionnaire Form N180 ?

    Hi,
I'm involved with defending a CC Money Claims case for my business. We have filed our defence and then received a letter which although it mentions 'enclosures', there are no enclosures apart from the letter in the envelope.
It does mention completing the Form N180 which of course isn't included in the envelope. I have downloaded this form.
My Question is, as the DEFENDANT, do we have to also complete this form or is it just for the CLAIMANT to complete ?

There appears to be a number of areas on the form that should already have been completed by the Court ?

    Hi BOB1971

The Directions Questionnaire (N180) has to be filled in by both the Claimant and Defendant. It's a simple form, but still has to be filled in carefully.

Once completed, a copy goes to the court and a copy goes to the other side. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.

When the Court gets the form from you, they will fill in their bits. Make sure you keep a copy.
