Waiting for PPI cheques
Hi and I will say thanks now
I have been awarded 2 claims on PPI amounting to approx £9000 - I sent the various letters back accepting and the cheques were to take 30 days to arrive as I no longer have accounts with the 2 banks. It is now 42 days and no cheques have arrived - I have tried to contact both offices but they are both closed and no one is dealing with the processes. I have contacted both banks but have been told that this is nothing to do with them and I will just have to wait. I have emailed complaints to both as they did not send any letters till February - stating that they were overwhelmed with claims.
I have thought of contacting the Financial Ombudsman but just want the cheques as promised. These will help out no end in the current climate but I am not sure where to go now, plus I am worried that these cheques have gone elsewhere.
