  • Multiple invoices small claims

Working for owners of nursing home for 4 years refurbishing the home. Now i have finished the work they are disputing one invoice. This invoice is for work carried out to raise complaint against a company the owners looking for compensastion which never happened. I still did the preparation work and now they are saying they wont setlle this invoice or the other invoices unless i except half the amount. The total of all 5 invoices waiting on payment is 15k. What i want advice on can i take each invoice to small claims or do i have to group the whole lot as this takes it over the 10k small claims limit . Love some advice please

It's likely the court would amalgamate all of the invoices at the directions stage and allocate to the fast track.

You could try with the one they are disputing as this is where the issue really lies and if successful then demand that they pay the remaining or else you'll take them through court as well.
