My partner started a course sometime last year, the company is tradestech, a guy came to his house gave him a book and a dvd to watch, he signed paperwork, he only did the course for a week or 2 and stopped, they have sent a letter today claiming he owes them £1980 and they have passed the credit agreement over to ARC Europe limited for future collection! My partner now lives with me, he has no job and no valuables, he is on universal credit (£250) a month while trying to look for a job. What can we do as he cannot afford this?! Any help please *

Why did he stop doing the course ?
He'll need to make an affordable payment arrangement with ARC if they write to him to stop it going to court.
First though, do you have a copy of the credit agreement ? Is it actually with Tradestech ?*#staysafestayhome
