  • CCA help

I’ve been on a DMP with stepchange for over 9years and in the new year I decided to send my three creditors a CCA request. I’ve had a response from PRA group who have sent me a copy of my original 1998 application form for MBNA but you cannot read any of the typed part of the form. Most of my original writing can be made out, along with some numbers that have been written in the bottom of the form. PRA They also enclosed an A4 newly printed set of terms and conditions which has no date on it. PRA now want me to contact their office within 10 days to come to a mutually acceptable agreement to settle my outstanding balance. This has worried me hugely especially as it was all going fine on my DMP with stepchamge and now I feel like I’ve upset the applecart. Can anyone tell me what the best to proceed would be please?*

I would respond to them saying Thank You for providing the documents, your account is currently being paid through Stepchange and as your circumstances have not changed you do not envisage being able to pay any more than you already are doing.

Any way to tell if the terms that have been typed are the same as those on the original document ?*

Thank you for your help, this has been worrying me so much. I honestly have no idea if the terms and conditions are the same as the originals, from distant memory I just filled in a form that came in the post offering me a credit card so it was like filling out the back of a leaflet if you know what I mean.*
