  • Law enforcement officer

Hi any help on this would be appreciated,on Friday while myself and wife was out a law enforcement officer called at our house...they saw my neighbour on her front and asked if either I or my wife lived here she didn’t divulge any information to him..no card has been left so I can not contact anyone for information. I have rang my local magistrates court which shows nothing for either of us..they advised me to ring marsdens they have nothing either..they said to ring high courts which I have and this still shows nothing..I know we have had unpaid *debts from over the years and admit I have ignored letters but can not recall any court judgment letters .i did dirt one from my previous thread which is being paid from Lowell should I contact these see if they have anything else as I am wanting to sort out now my head is in a better place as I suffer from depression*

Did your neighbour describe the person that visited as a law enforcement officer?* I presume she was going on the uniform that the visitor was wearing ? An enforcement agent should have left a card/letter of some sort, a debt collector probably wouldn't have done but also wouldn't have been wearing bodycam etc - could it have been an actual policeman ?*

You sound like you have done everything you can to find out whether there is anything that you don't know about so all you really can do is wait and see if they come back or if you receive any letter - and although easier said than done, really try not to worry about it.
