Hi,,, I've had a ccj for just over 5 years now that I have ignored it was for a cc debt with vanquish and Cabot were the Dca,,, I moved house a few times and thought they had given up, , but recently I started getting letters from Mortimer Clarke,* the 1st letter was about June last year asking for expenditure and expenses and to arrange a payment plan,, I ignored the letter and had another letter about October saying if I didnt get in touch they were going to go for a attachment of earnings order,,, I ignored this and today I recieved a letter offering me a ffs offer of £835 The original debt was about £2700,,, is this a no brainer should I contact them to pay it?

If you have £835, and it's definitely to clear the full debt, then it would remove any risk of them enforcing the CCJ before the 6 years are up ( and they can still enforce after the 6 years but have to apply to the court first to show they have tried to contact you ).
The CCJ will fall off your file next year regardless of whether you pay it or not, and would only be marked as partially settled so it's not going to have any affect on your credit file if you do settle, so it would only be to draw a line under it and stop any potential future enforcement.#staysafestayhome
