  • Another Victim of Blemain or whatever they call themselves this week.

    Hi
I would be very grateful for some advice please on dealing with Blemain. I was panicked into a secured loan with them back in 2006 via Ocean Finance. If an expert could PM me I can give you the exact numbers but the bottom line is that even after this time I owe them more than I borrowed and they continue to try and take our home. I have tried everything to fight them but to be honest I am out of ideas and their constant flow of letters and threats is taking its toll. Any help would be greatly appreciated.* *

You took a loan with Blemain through Ocean finance. It's secured on your home. Presumably you were unable to keep up with the full payments and have some arrears which you cant get back on top of due to interest and charges ? Has it been to court ?

Have you obtained copies of all the data - agreements / transactions etc - from Blemain ?

Until you give a bit more info on the situation it is really difficult to help.

This stirred up bad memories for me, : (
50k loan taken out in 2006
        Repaid £11k in repayments
        Repaid £33,800 interest charges !
        Repaid £1165.00 in Letter fees
        Repaid £700.00 telephone charges

i could go on...account was settled 2011, lost the family home of 25 years ( 100 years in the family ), plus wife, kids, pets, everything, most of which in my opinion was brought on by the pressures of this company.

        £50,000 borrowed - £80,000 repaid.

Should i go back and fight them or am i now far too old ???
